Business Law

This semester-long course is designed to teach students about the law as it applies to individuals and business. Students will analyze legal issues such as contractual agreements, social responsibilities, minors’ rights and responsibilities, employment disputes, and other current issues. Students will be introduced to various topics, and guest speakers will add to the practicality of the class. The use of class court cases and group projects will also teach students through hands-on learning. Business students are strongly encouraged to use their skills and knowledge to compete in the FBLA competitions, and participate in activities provided to them throughout the year where they learn valuable leadership and social skills.
